STEM ROV assembly teaching (2022/10/15 at Kaohsiung Municipal Chung-Cheng Industrial High School)

On October 15, 2022, ROV MAKER team invited to Kaohsiung Municipal Chung-Cheng Industrial High School to conduct a course on STEM  ROV assembly.

The students of CCVS who participated in the course impressed the ROV MAKER team deeply. First of all, the school’s active participation is rare for ROV MAKER to offer this series of courses. This course is on Saturday, even if it is not class time, there are still 14 students who signed up to make this course full.

The students who participated in the course also had their own creative ideas, and suggested to the lecturer what they think of the assembly method and wanted to try it themselves. At the same time, make good use of the tools in the classroom to develop a more professional assembly method.

There was also great teamwork during the course, one group was late and assembled the wrong 360 waterproof simple thruster, and the other group who was ahead of schedule was willing to help speed up the progress.

In this course, ROV MAKER specially added a sample description of the learning history file. In addition to the improvement of practical skills, through the improvement of document writing ability, my efforts can be seen by the colleges and universities that I want to study in the future.

The last hour of the course is a test in the school’s pond, including a buoyancy correction.
